The nice thing about that DPS, is that it will be applied to any, and all things. Tengu Propulsion - Intercalated NanofibersĦ22 Heated DPS out to 45K. Tengu Offensive - Accelerated Ejection Bay Tengu Engineering - Augmented Capacitor Reservoir Tengu Electronics - Dissolution Sequencer Rapid Light Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Light Missile It along with the other tech 3's are really useless out side of proteus / loki with huge buffer + ewar in armor fleets.Īs for the tengu now, I would fly it this way: And with pirate cruisers easily hitting 3k/s with no heat, and having an align time of 4.5 seconds or less with an MWD on, there is no way a super unagilve 100Mn is ever going to keep up or get out.Īs for the tengu, it basically turned to **** after the HML nerf. So many ships can match or surpass your speed now, that frankly the 100mn is not really that viable, A mutch better choice to look into, is a dual prop SCYFI or Nossprey. However in the day and age of t1 cruisers, its just not worth it. the Ab that made it basically untouchable. Cruise phoons do the job much better in regards to applying damage.įor some time the 100mn had that AB.
#EVE ONLINE TENGU PVE FIT FULL#
Life of lively full life thx to shield battery Personally I wouldn't even consider a 100mn tengu if I didn't have a boner ship in system. You might find that the 100mn tengu is no longer a "win" button and that some of the T1 ships have become hilariously interesting. Tegus have been slighly adjusted but so have many T1 ships. I'd be a pricey fit, and would love some opinions before I take the plunge. A lot of people say not to bother unless you have links + implans, while others think you can get away with HMLs and a faction point. I know HMLs were nerfed but I was curious if the 100mn AB Tengu was still viable with HAMs and a few implants.įrom forum research, it seems like there's no clear consensus. The 100mn AB Tengu appeals to me because of its increased survivablity with the the speedtank and a theoretically constant stream of DPS. Just came back to the game after a 8 month hiatus. (PVP) i wouldnt dream to pvp in one, but i wouldnt mind pvp'ing in an ishtar. however, the tengu is attractive because it can push 800dps with an active tank which would theoretically make ratting 2 times faster. The sentar can do 470 dps from 110km, and the damage is instant. The tank is legendary, can passive tank lvl V mission full room aggro easily and C6 WH corps use fleets of them in RR configuration. It competes with a CNR for mission efficiency. The Tengu can be setup for passive, Active or RR tanking and excels at all 3.Ĭlose range with Ham's or well over 100km with Hml's, Damage output from circa 400 dps passive tanked to 800+ active tanked with Hams. If you ever get into WH combat the Ishtar will get mothballed due to its drones, unless you are in a big fleet where drone aggro isn't such an issue. The Ishtar is a great ship but the Tengu is much more adaptable for pve. I hope my unbroken wall of texts helps you. In just about every situation, the Ishtar and the Tengu can both be configured to considerably out-tank a Dominix both in theoretical on-paper DPS and due to smaller signature radii and faster speeds. Against the other pirate factions mentioned, the Dominix handily outperforms the Tengu due to the lack of a damage-type bonus to non-Kinetic damage on the Tengu. Against things that are primarily weak to Kinetic damage (i.e., Guristas), the Tengu outperforms the Dominix in both missions and anomalies or complexes because it can apply more of its theoretical DPS to a wider number of targets for example, the Dominix does nowhere near the above-quoted DPS to frigates or elite cruisers, but a properly setup and skilled Tengu still does about 80%+ of its on-paper DPS to those targets.

The Dominix is considerably less good against Angels and other things that deal primarily explosive damage. The numbers quoted are based on fighting Blood Raiders, EoM, Guristas, Mercenary, Serpentis, or Sanshas. With high skills you can choose between a 1,000+ DPS tank against your chosen rat damage and around 500 DPS out to 80km with a 2-LAR setup (without guns), or a 700+ DPS tank against your chosen rat damage and around 800 DPS with a 1-LAR setup (with guns). I would humbly suggest that, for L4 missions, you take a look at the Dominix.
